*Swoop Parks are venues with large swoop ponds that are equipped with but are not limited to permanent courses, spectator bleachers, packing area, timing systems, sand for landing area and more.
*Swoop Ponds have a larger surface area than ditches and are not limited to a single direction. Swoop ponds can have multiple courses set up at the same time and in multiple directions.
*Swoop ditches are linear in shape and are typically long and narrow.
*The largest man-made swoop pond in the country is 500ft X 200ft located at the Spaceland Swoop Park outside Houston, Texas. This facility has permanent "break-away" courses, sandy landing area, spectator stands, packing area, canopy dryers and much more.
